Rick Nielsen of Cheap Trick, Rick Owned, Multi Color Skull Sweater, 1988

Frankly, this belongs in the Rock In Roll Hall of Fame. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to own a Rick Nielsen owned/worn, Sally Walton custom made sweater. This is one of only a few (4 total?) sweaters Rick has let go over the years. I believe this is the ONLY skull sweater Rick has get go of. Of all the sweaters, this is probably the most well documented and publicly viewed. Rick sold this sweater at a silent auction at Trickfest II in the 90's - well before getting into the RinRHofF. He wore this in the late 80's and in the Cheap Trick Live in Australia video. If you look at YouTube, you will find various live concert videos with him wearing it. 

The sweater has been safely packed away for 20+ years in a plastic sweater bag and is in great condition. It is in the exact condition from the CTF auction. If you look closely, you can see where Rick's guitar straps hung across his shoulder. I was always going to get it framed and mounted, but life got in the way. Smoke free. Mold free. 

The sweater, various pictures, tour program, Cheap Trick Live in Australia video, and actual video of the sweater hanging at Trickfest are all included. 

I believe the legendary rock and roll photographer Paul Natkin out of Chicago has additional photos of Rick wearing this sweater. I once reached out to Paul Hamer (yes, Hamer Guitars) who now owns a frame shop in Chicago. I always wanted Paul to frame it for me since he has such a close relationship with Rick,
