You are bidding on a NEW old stock (2021 Model-Damaged/Repaired) Epiphone SG !  This guitar was decapitated during shipment from Epiphone to to the retail store-we re attached the head and its good to go ... 

This guitar was produced by Epiphone to reach a sub $400 pricepoint-they only produced this guitar with P-90 pickups and the worn finish...we have upgraded this guitar with 490/498 Gibson Humbucker sized screamers !

The headstock repair looks rough, but its better than the pictures and can easily be made to disappear if you spend some time on it..black guitars are pretty forgiving...

 Lots of nice luthier work-Made in Indonesa.   This guitar is solid where it counts-Nice thin, fast   Mahogany  neck, glued in (set neck) construction,  .   With a decent set up, cleaning and maintenance, this is a fantastic reliable player-if your looking for a closet beauty, this guitar isn't for you.
This guitar is a fantastic player as is-the repair is solid and the pickups have just enough snarl in em ! Play it as is, or use it as a platform to find that perfect tone...

These guitars were origionally a Guitar Center exclusive and were sold without any case or gig bag. (perhaps thats why the decapitation ?) To help protect the guitar we will ship with a brand new (with tags) Hard Shell case ($179 Musicians Friend) included in the price.

The guitar will ship in a vintage gig bag via UPS ground, Insured. The case is NOT original to the guitar and has NO retail value, except to protect this guitar in shipping. We will only ship to the PayPal confirmed address, sorry this auction is limited to the Continential US only, sorry no international shipments. Shipping/Packing is done according to best policies of Gibson, Fender, Ibanez and regulations of both UPS and Fedex-if you have some special requirements, just let us know.
