Relisted. Was on loan for studio use.
Satellite Cuda for sale. I really can't say enough good things about this amp. The construction quality is second to none, first rate parts throughout and it's incredibly touch sensitive. I ordered it sight unseen due to reviews, and I must say it lives up to and exceeds them all. Unfortunately it just doesn't meet my needs in my band right now. I bought it because I like both Social D. and Flogging Molly, both of whom have Satellites on their backlines. I'm used to playing Marshalls and thought it would be fun to try something different. With how I play in my band I found that I missed the 3 band eq and the presence control on Marshalls. I'd keep the Cuda if I could afford to just to have it, but ultimately I'm a grad student at the moment as well as a musician and I just can't really swing that.
This amp has maybe twenty hours on it and the only two times it's left my house were once for a rehearsal and once for a recording session. The main picture is from the session. The amp is in mint condition. These were designed around the KT66 power tube but they will also accept EL34's with a rebias! I currently have new GT KT66's in the amp, but I will ship it with a set of new EL34's that it came with as well. If you don't want one of the sets of tubes I'll knock $50 off the price. Also just message me if you'd like more pictures or a video clip of what this amp sounds like. I'd describe it as a JTM45 / Vox hybrid kind of deal. The only controls are standby / off / on, Volume and Tone. You also have a switch in the back to select between a tube rectifier and a solid state rectifier, and the amp can be set to accept 4, 8, or 16 ohm cabinets.
I have included a link to a Youtube video that is just an audio track of the amp. It was running through a 412 of G12M Greenbacks and I was playing a Les Paul. The amp is played clean, at half volume, and then wide open. I use all three pickup positions on the Les Paul and all guitar controls are at 10. No attenuation is used and the guitar is straight into the amp.
Shipping and PayPal are included in the price to the Continental US. Sorry, no international shipping. As always, I'll accept returns within 72 hours of delivery confirmation as long as buyer pays return shipping. If you have any questions don't hesitate to message me!
