This is a 1993 USA Hamer Special, in TV yellow (nitro cellulose finish) with the original Seymour Duncan P 90s and hardshell case. Some of these guitars have thinner necks, but this one has the slightly thicker style neck desired by some people (The 1992 and some of the early 93 versions of this guitar have the thinner necks, I have another Hamer Special from the same year that does indeed have a slightly thinner neck than this. Since I have small hands I don't mind that, but many people prefer this slightly thicker neck). The neck is whole and complete, no headstock breaks! This guitar plays great and has a nice ringing sustain/twang to it.
I've taken a number of photos to try to show the actual color of the finish. Under some lighting as you will see in the photos, it can look a little brighter yellow than it really is. Since it is a nitro cellulose finish, you can actually see some of the wood grain if you look closely in person. There is some slight scuffing, dings and wear on the guitar that do not quite show up in the photos, it's a player for sure, but still in really good shape. I've taken photos of three notable paint dings/chips, including at the base of the neck, the top of the back of the headstock, and a small spot on the side of the guitar.
The other thing is that the input jack might be starting to get loose, that I found if the guitar cable is run through the strap first so it's held in the jack, it never cuts out. I have a replacement Jack that I will include, I never bothered to put in the guitar as the jack seems to work fine with the cable looped through the strap or if I'm sitting, but I will include that check. If there's time and if you like, I might be able to actually install it, but maybe you would rather just see how things go as is and just keep it as a back up (it was never something serious enough for me to get around to changing it).
