Outside of winning a lottery or unearthing an uncirculated long lost/forgotten '60 Les Paul out of a old barn in the north east,,, it just doesn't get any better than this vintage Tokai. This beautiful 1980 Tokai LS-50 Les Paul Reborn Love Rock was carefully and lovingly produced during the absolute hey-day of Japanese guitar building and pre-lawsuit clones of the finest vintage Gibson, Fender and Martins. This guitar is all original and in near perfect condition. Absolutely spectacular example of the very best Japanese Lawsuit guitars ever made. This is a nearly identical copy of a 1960 Gibson Les Paul. Do a google search if your not familiar with these guitars, better than ANYTHING Gibson has made since 1965, short of Historic models at 8k. It features the long neck Tenon, 3 piece maple cap top, Old growth Mahogany body, Brazilian Rosewood board (not in the specs but they definitely had it in their factory and nothing I have seen over the last 12 years looks as close as this in regards to looking like what you see on old Gibson’s), Real Mother of Pearl inlays. Easily recognizable as a great Les Paul the second you pick it up and play it. It is very good to excellent condition for it's age and presents very clean overall. It has a chip on the finish on the edge, a ding or two on the back and some scattered little scratches and other typical playwear you would expect to find on a guitar that is now over 41 years old. These guitars increase in value every year and are an excellent investment as well as being spectacular players. Comes with its original Lifton-Style hard shell case. It has been professionally set up and dialed in for optimal tone and playability.

It has just been professionally set up and dialed in for optimal playability and tone. It has low action with no buzzing or dead spots and is an absolute joy to play. It has been deep cleaned and detailed. All guitars will arrive looking and playing great. The frets have been dressed/polished and the fingerboard was cleaned. (Unfinished Rosewood and Ebony boards get treated with Fret Doctor - a proprietary all natural oil that is the best on the market) It was professionally set up and has brand new strings, the action was adjusted, the intonation is spot on and it plays excellent. All the electronics work flawlessly.
