there is no back pressure required to play the mouthpiece as it is totally
free–blowing. Articulation is spontaneous and continuous to respond without any
lag.
Every note from low Bb right into the upper
register of the horn is achieved effortlessly. The player will easily “pop” altissimo
notes with little or no effort.

last literally for decades.
Note: 14kt, 18kt and 24kt
are only color or shades of gold and should not be confused as to an actual
gold content amount. Industry gold plating is measured in the amount of mills
that are adhered via the plating process on to the mouthpiece.
The standard for gold
plated mouthpieces in the industry is a minimum of 25 mills. While most other
makers do not come close to reaching even the standard, all our gold plated HGE
mouthpieces have always exceeded the standard for long life and durability.
The mouthpiece is meticulously
hand finished and play tested for superior quality by Gary Sugal, prior to
leaving the factory. Let us know the preferred size 7-9 .. within 1/2 sizes.
