About This Listing

The bass pictured is the actual bass you will receive!

At The Farm, we take actual pictures of each instrument and make sure they are fully set-up and ready to play before we ship them. Each instrument goes through a multi-point inspection, followed by a set-up process by our in-house tech staff. We then photograph each instrument with high-quality equipment in our on-site photography studio. We know that details like wood grain and color finishes can vary, so we want you to be able to see, to the best of our ability, exactly what you will be receiving.

This process takes over an hour for each instrument - from inspection to pictures. We care about the instrument we put into your hands! Rest assured your guitar was not just plucked off of a shelf and drop-shipped to you from a warehouse without care.

Just in on trade!

This 1980's vintage Stinger bass, by C.F. Martin & Co. is a blast from the past and loaded with features. Starting in 1985, C.F. Martin & Co. unveiled their new Stinger line of solid body electric guitars and basses, which were short lived but very popular.

Most Stingers were made by the renowned Samick Piano Company located in South Korea and shipped to the C.F. Martin factory in Nazareth, PA. for final inspection and set-up. In 1989 Martin expanded warehouse to accommodate for the Stinger line. After final set-up some guitars received a clear decal placed on the seven digit, serial numbered neck plate - as seen on this guitar.

This Stinger SBX50 features a Precision style body and pickup configuration, with a bolt-on Maple neck, a Rosewood fretboard, a single P-style split-coil pickup and a classic Red finish that is a nod to the era in which it was made.

The comfortable C shaped neck sports a 34" scale, with a 10" radius Rosewood fretboard with 20 frets, all of which combine to create a fast neck that's easy and fun to play.

Loaded with a single split-coil pickup that offers a punchy, warm sound that can easily be dialed in by the volume and the tone control - from smooth, jazzy runs to chugging Djent, this bass has you covered.

Keep in tune with the stoptail bridge and open gear tuners, so you can stay focused on making music instead of retuning every few minutes.

Topped off with a stage ready Red finish, which is complimented by the chrome hardware.

Bonus! Keep this bass safe, no matter where the road takes you, with the included hardshell case.

This is a used instrument and does show some signs of slight use, but has been fully tested and functions as expected. Please take a moment to review our pictures, as they accurately portray the true condition of the instrument.
