Here’s a light weight, vintage style ('52 specs) 2-piece Catalpa Tele body in Grayish White (technically it’s antique white, darkened by the natural color of the wood), with no exposed wire channel between neck pup and control plate (so you can go with or without pick guard.) There’s one distinct knot on the back, front is clear. This telecaster body was custom ordered for staining/coloring by "Guitars by Buren" from the great wood and CNC wizards of the US Great Lakes region, Woodtech Routing.
The Northern Catalpa species of wood grows commonly in mid-western section of the USA. This wood is reputed to offer tone qualities similar to swamp ash, but is generally lighter and a bit softer - and it loves color!
After stain, several coats of hand-rubbed light satin finish were applied for protection, so no further finish work required. She weights in at light 3 lbs. and 14.5 oz. which equates to an assembled tele just under 7 lbs. – nice! Suitable for standard tele replacement necks (2-3/16” neck pocket) - compare Allparts, Musikraft, MJT, USACG, Warmoth.
