For your consideration is an outstanding Gibson Custom '58 Les Paul Reissue (R8). This was built at the beginning of 2020 and is finished in a spectacular Washed Cherry Sunburst. The finish, paired with an outstanding top gives this a vintage burst vibe. The fretboard on this particular guitar is also beautiful and pairs well with the finish.
This one has all the upgrades and appointments that you would expect from the latest run of reissues from the Gibson Custom Shop.
Guitar is marked as "Excellent" as I cannot find any significant signs of wear, short of some binding bleed and polishing cloth swirls, which is to be expected. This guitar has the VOS package which simulates some light finish swirls and aging of the hardware, but nothing extreme.
The guitar weighs in at a light 8lbs 5oz! Neck thickness is .920" at the 1st fret and 1.00" at the 12th fret.
