I normally keep away from Tele Control Plates because there are so many cheap import Plates being offered for sale and the specs are all wrong, 95% of them won’t fit a USA Fender Telecaster. These Kluson ones have been copied from a USA Fender Telecaster Control Plate, but they have one huge advantage over the Fender Plate, I worked with Kluson to lengthen the slot slightly for the switch lever, which now lets you use the Oak Grigsby 4-way switch without issues that the 4-way is notorious for.
The Oak Grigsby 4-way switch lever needs slightly more travel compared to the CRL 3-way and 5-way switches and most times the switch lever hits the end of the control plate slot before it engages fully into position 1 or position 4. Before these Klusons came out, it was a case of filing both ends of the slot with a diamond needle file, or alternatively filing the switch lever width. Now you don't have to mess with that.
