Originally designed by the geniuses at RunOffGroove.com this variation of the Big Muff replaces the four transistors in the classic Big Muff circuit with MOSFET inverters. It also includes a three position switch that modifies the sweep of the tone control from classic Big Muff, Flat, and Deep scooped.
MOSFETS are used in many highly regarded overdrives and distortions pedals like the Way Huge Red Llama and Fat Sandwich, and the Blackstone Devices MOSFET overdrive, and many, others. MOSFETS provide provide a tube, like sound when driven.
This pedal has the classic Big Muff sound wrapped in overdriven Marshall like sound with three choices for tone sweep.
