Last year Evil Guitars received a truckload of rare guitars and basses from BC Rich, and this was one of them. It was an unfinished Custom USA Bich, made by Bernie Rico Jr in 2010 as part of a "Master Built" series that never really happened (aside for some Gunslingers made by Grover Jackson around the same time). The guitar was built, painted and routed for humbuckers by BRJr in California, but due to personal reasons, never finished, and BC Rich held onto the unfinished body until Evil Guitars got it!. We sent it to electronics wizard, original BC Rich employee, and creator of the Bich, Neal Moser. Neal did all of the rest, added a USA Custom Kahler 2315KK Kerry King model trem, Bare Knuckle Pickups Blackhawks, full Moser Bich circuit, bone nut, Grover tuners with Imperial heads and the classic top hat knobs! Top it off with one of Neal's amazing setups, and this guitar is ready to rock! Besides testing it out after receiving it completed, it is Brand New! The guitar has the normal BCR serial number, as stamped on the end of the fretboard, and also a "guitar blank" serial number that was assigned by Gary at BCR (see inside back plate) where Neal signed it. This guitar comes with a Certificate of Authenticity and a letter from Gary at BCR confirming this guitars long journey to completion.
