For sale: one pair of Channel Processing Modules from a Paragon P40D with direct outs and custom aluminum case.
All functions work as intended. These high voltage Class A mic preamps went on to be the ATI 8mx2, the 4 band fully parametric EQ w/HP&LP filters used in the ATI Pro6 and the stacked VCA compressor became the famed API2500 and JDK R22. The original I/O panel is used for full routing. Dual XLR inputs with 48v phantom power, balanced insert send & return and an external gate trigger via XLR. Additionally, I added a pair of direct out balanced line drivers on TRS connectors. The dynamics are linkable. The meters are bright and responsive. Each section is bypassable for the shortest signal path possible.
These are intended for recording studios or adding the best stereo front end possible to your audio interface. The strips are 20” long, hence the custom case.
