Extremely comfy and fast neck. This guitar loves complex fretboard mechanics as much as cowboy chords. Very responsive, great sustain, high dynamic range, and the signature harmonically-rich Goodall timbre.

History: Original owner. Purchased new in 2003 in PDX. To me it nailed Pierre Bensusan's tones from his Intuite album. It has only gotten better with age. It is currently professionally set up by the 12th Fret with medium-low action. As it says on the label, light gauge (.012 or lighter) strings ONLY.

Condition: Excellent condition, especially for an instrument of its age. Don't get me wrong -- it has been played, and played a lot, but treated *very* well in the process. There is some fret wear on the treble side that will need leveling at some point, but plays and sounds wonderful. The frets have only been dressed once, so they have plenty of life.

This guitar is in excellent condition. Serious inquiries only, please. If you are not familiar with James Goodall's work and instruments, please familiarize yourself first, and then feel free to contact me with any questions!

This is a big transaction and I want us both to be happy with it. This guitar was my prized #1 acoustic baby for almost 20 years, and I am only selling due to health issues. This is an amazing guitar that I am only selling because it's not a good physical fit for me, which has been a hard realization to come to. If I had broader shoulders and longer arms, I'd be keeping this guitar for my entire life. But I find myself playing smaller guitars that are more comfortable and don't leave me wincing in pain, due to my body shape and health issues. I want it to go to a good home and am willing to wait for the right buyer. **Please reach out to me before making an offer.**
