Here is a new Knaggs Steve Stevens Signature model SSC in Ocean Blue Burst with a Tier 1 Flame Maple top. Specs include a Mahogany body and neck, carved T1 Curly Maple top, Maple body binding, custom SS neck carve, Rosewood fretboard with Turquoise block inlays, Ebony headstock veneer with Turquoise Ray Gun headstock inlay, nickel hardware, TonePros bridge, Kluson Revolution tuners and Bare Knuckle Steve Stevens pickups. Included with this SSC is a hand signed Backplate and Raygun. The Raygun lights up and makes a sound similar to the Raygun Steve uses for his famous "Rebel Yell" guitar solo, but have not been stage modified. Intended as a collectors item only.

Grammy-Award winning virtuoso and long time collaborator Steve Stevens and Knaggs Guitars proudly announce the Steve Stevens SSC. Based on their successful Signature models SS1 & SS2, the SSC is a more classic approach for serious players who are interested in this particular shape, feel and sound yet are looking for a less flashy and more vintage oriented instrument.

The SSC features a classic single cutaway Mahogany body with a carved Maple top, custom SS neck carve (22 frets on 24.75” scale), Rosewood fingerboard with block inlays, ray gun headstock inlay, Bare Knuckle pick-ups and appointments tailored to Steve’s preferences. The instrument will be available in a variety of transparent and opaque colors and a permanent model offering in Knaggs guitars’ instrument stable.

Well….back to the roots was the obvious answer.
