K Yairi YW-1000 1975 Natural

Beautiful  K Yairi. Its the flagship model from the 70s. Made from the best wood.

Solid spruce top.

Brazilian Rosewood AKA Jacaranda..back and sides.

Most of these older K Yairi are laminated back and sides, but very high quality. This is not like a modern day junk laminated guitar..this is hand made from excellent wood with excellent crafmanship.

Ebony fret board, Mahogany kneck.

Beautiful hand cut Mother of pearl inlay and abalone bindings.

Original gold Grover tuners.

Very clean throughout. See listed issues..

Light clouding on back and head. This just happens whith age, no checking or cracks in finish.

Some where on gold tuner knobs..tuners in perfect working order.

A few marks on kneck.

Minimal picking marks but a few as expected for a 46 year old guitar.

A ding on lower back.

No cracks anywhere or repairs.This is a wonderful awesome guitar.

All original..frets are in good shape.

Overall condition is superb.

Action on 12 fret is around 2.7 and 2.2 mm..so its straight and plays nice.

This is ready to play. Although set up for your personal preference something you may want to do to make it your own.

Comes with good hard case, not original..
