Here’s a no pickguard clear pine
tele body with vintage specs in a transparent sonic gray color and prominent
grain pattern underneath its transparent overcast-weather surface, displaying
subtle hues of underlying wood tones! (See photos, both in shade and direct
sunlight.)
This vintage-style telecaster with
no exposed wire channel between neck pup and control plate (so you can go with
or without pick guard), was custom ordered for staining/coloring by
"Guitars by Buren" from Tonebomb Guitar Parts in Calgary, Canada, the
gateway to the North-American Rockies.
After stain, two coats of hand-rubbed flat/satin finish
were applied for protection, so no further finish work required.
She weights in at a light 3 lbs. and
9 oz. which equates to an assembled tele at just under 6.5 lbs. – nice!
Suitable for standard tele replacement parts - compare Allparts, Musikraft,
MJT, USACG, Warmoth.
DISCLAIMER: Pine is a very light
& resonant but also quite soft wood. Minor nicks, dings and scratches are almost
guaranteed – even for new bodies – and are part of their rustic charm! If you
feel differently, don’t buy pine!
