This pedal is *The Answer* for Fuzz Fanatics. We know how it is: You want the fatness of a Fuzzface, but also need the classic 60's Bumblebee Buzz of the Vox Tonebender...

What to do? Audition dozens of fuzzes, spend a small fortune, and use up *two* slots on your pedalboard just for fuzz tones? Ugh. Hasn't someone made a versatile fuzz yet!?!

Indeed, we have. The "Blue Velvet" came to us in a psychedelic auditory hallucination. We floated on a sea of swirling fuzz tones, buzzing high up into the clouds on shining Vox Tonebender sounds, until deep, blooming fuzzface lows pulled us into a maelstrom of madness, down, down into the thickest fuzz river of doom we had ever heard. Before losing our way in the cascade of sound, a gentle soul turned the velvet knob back to the soaring, dense sizzle of the tonebender side, and we rose again to ride another chorus into the clouds. Ahhhh...

Did that really happen?
Well... what is "real"? The controls on the Blue Velvet are real. They shape your guitar sound in the way no other fuzz pedal can. Seriously, this is not a clone or copy of another pedal maker's idea. We worked it out and tested this in our shop in Berlin. And while flying in above mentioned clouds. AND all of happens by creating real-time analog changes to a vintage-true fuzz circuit. No digital tricks, no simulated nonsense. This is 100% vintage Germanium Fuzz Tone controlled with:
*Volume *Gain *Vibe (which is a bias control)
"Velvet" (Blends smoothly from Mk1.5 to Fuzzface response) * 3-way gain switch: lo gain/hi gain/treble boost

***It’s worth noting that most players leave the Gain on a fuzz dimed, and control the fuzz amount via their Guitar’s volume control. This led us to develop our 3-way gain voicing switch, which departs from a classic fuzz circuit by wiring for max gain and you control it from your guitar. This model (3-knob) forgoes a gain knob. There are, however, more tonal shades to be had by using a gain control, which we added to the 4-knob version of the “Blue Velvet” Fuzz.
