The OMC-X1E Black features an OMC body with Jett Black HPL top, back, and sides. A long 25.4" scale helps deliver its power with increased string tension. HPL resists dings, dents, and scratches more than a traditional wood guitar, making it perfect for those who wish to take their guitar to places such as camping or the beach. Features include a herringbone ink rosette, black birch laminate neck, FSCA fingerboard and bridge, and Fishman MX electronics. Like all X Series guitars, the D-X1E Black comes in a gig bag featuring headstock, bridge, and end pin protectors, a durable water repellant exterior, and foam padding for protection on the road.

Tone
The OMC-X1E Black is a 14-fret orchestra model with a cutaway. The OM vs. the 000 has a long 25.4" scale length with slightly increased tension for more volume and projection. The traditional OM size is one of Martins most popular and is favored for is well balanced tone and even volume.
