Gloucester, Mass. (June 15, 2021) — In the wake of Founder, Sandy Peek’s, untimely death after a brief battle with cancer, KGC is releasing his final feat of engineering left behind on what would have been his 70th birthday – June 15th. After many years of manufacturing tremolo blocks and other tone upgrades, the Bell block was created with a history of tone and quality in mind. The KGC Bell Block is machined (not cast) from the highest quality musical brass alloy. It is the first design of its kind and offers the Floyd Rose player an option that is not just the same old idea created in a different material. This is truly attaching a bell to your bridge – and the results are amazing!

CNC machined and hand finished to perfection, It comes with 3 extra long stainless steel mounting screws for secure attachment. Installation is extremely easy and requires no permanent modifications to the guitar.

A Bell Block user can expect notable increase in sustain, resonance and a sweet but articulate tonal change. The Bell Block, in comparison to the standard brass big blocks you can buy all over these days, provides a less muddy, more booming low to midrange and a sweeter top end. Note to note definition is greatly improved and you retain the character of the guitar – not overpowering its natural tones.

The Bell Block design is currently made to fit the standard Floyd mounting of the Original, 1000 and Special Series bridges.
