This is a 2003 limited run collector series Schecter “Aviation Collection” guitar. These were only released 2003-2008 in small quantities as a tribute to the great warbirds of WWII. The “Bomber Girl”. The PT body shape represents the nose art on a Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress. The fretboard has “Stars and Bars” and USAF at the 12th fret. I read that this was a mistake, was supposed to be USAAF (US Army-Air Force), and supposedly corrected in later years. The USAF was not created until 1947.
The guitar has reversed headstock, black bound mahogany body and rock maple neck. Pickups are Duncan designed humbuckers with weathered chrome hardware and Grover tuners. The guitar is in good condition with just some light play wear and one small nick on the back of the headstock, near the top, that is barely noticeable unless looked at closely. There is still some plastic on the back cavity plate. The guitar was built in Korea S/N # 0403636.
Guitar plays and sounds good & will be shipped in a gig bag.
