Adcom GFA-5802 2-channel Power Amplifier - black

The Adcom GFA-5802 is a superb example of this company's efforts in stereo amplifiers.  Allows balanced or single-ended inputs, with two pairs of sturdy binding posts per channel if biwiring is desired.  300W per channel into 8 ohms and 450W into 4 ohms -- this is an amp that can handle any speaker load.  The bass control is superb and the overall sound is delicate and transparent.  The amplifier was designed by the legendary Nelson Pass.  Bandwidth is 3Hz to 130kHz; dynamic headroom is 2.3 dB.  A great performer all-around.

The original price was a steal in 1999; the current price is even more so: this equipment is in near-mint condition.  (The only downsize, perhaps, is the weight, 48 pounds.)  Original box and manual included.  Comes with its original, detachable, heavy-duty power cord.
