Using a selection of tonewoods and decades of experience, the JM-SG45 really is an accomplished all-rounder. The mahogany back and sides give you just right amount of bottom-end and warmth whilst remaining clear and articulate, and the Sitka spruce top allows the high frequencies to sit perfectly in the mix. You can rattle off spec until the cows come home with a bone nut and saddle, dove tail neck join, micarta fingerboard, open gear Grover machineheads... but really you need to just play one.
