The TASCAM CD-A500 is a 3U rack-mountable combination CD player, tray loaded mechanism, and cassette deck, two-head bi-directional player recorder. The unit offers the ability to record directly from the CD to the cassette; or, onto the cassette from an external source. The cassette deck provides 12 +/- Pitch Control, Dolby B noise reduction, and its counter reset has an RTZ function. Unbalanced I/O (on back) via RCA connectors with front input volume control. The CD player offers Program Play, Shuffle Play, and allows continuous play of one or all tracks. Rear panel output is unbalanced RCA.
