Vintage
1979 Fender USA X-1 Bridge Pickup Made in Fullerton,
California - For Vintage Lead II & Stratocasters Up
for sale is this genuine, rare Fender USA X-1 bridge
pickup, pulled from a 1979 Lead II. This
particular early version of the X-1 features the
desirable gray fiber bobbin, and a resistance
of 7.08 Kohms.
The X-1 is
Fender's original hot pickup - the company installed
these in the bridge position of the legendary "The
Strat" model and all 1981 and 1982 USA Strats, and
in both positions of the Lead II. Made in the
long-gone Fullerton, California factory, the X-1
will work in all later model Strats too. Mount it
in your Strat for a meatier sound that retains its
vintage quality.
CONDITION: Works as well as new.

This is a straightforward install for standard
Stratocaster and Lead II guitars. The pickup

wires a bit to reach the pickup switch.

black pickup cover, mounting springs, and
screws, if you buy it at the listed price of $97.97. Best offer deals will include ONLY the pickup - add $10 for the other parts.
