Potyondi Cast Iron 6.5x14 Snare Drum - Rare

Rare Potyondi cast iron 6.5”x14” snare drum custom made by Peter Potyondi out of Canada.

These are no longer being made and are hard to find.  This is an absolute monster of a snare drum.   Made to be played hard and provide ear splitting volume.  Yet surprisingly articulate.  I customized this with cast hoops and a Dunnett Strainer.  This is the best one out there, because of these things.   The triple flanged rims and cheesy strainer on the originals do NOT do this drum justice.

This drum is #26 and hand signed by Peter.  In good shape with new snare side head and very slightly used reverse power dot batter  head.

Drum is roughly 30lbs and will cost a bit extra to ship.

Please Note: I am a musician and collector, not a dealer. I have a job that requires me to travel. I will make every effort to ship in 24 hours after receipt of fund - but if you are in a hurry contact me to confirm I can get it out in a day. I might not be home the day you buy it.
