2003 Hamer Studio Custom USA - '59 Burst

Up for sale is a lightly-used 2003 Hamer Studio Custom in excellent to near-mint condition. This one has a few mods, but nothing major. I feel that they actually improve the guitar. The current TOM bridge is a nickel-plated Faber bridge, but the original is included. I've also replaced the stock tone capacitor with a Mojo PIO cap. The original Seymour Duncan pickups were also swapped out and installed in another Hamer guitar a few years ago, but the current pickups are also Seymour Duncan '59s, only these have the chrome-plated covers. I've never removed the covers on this set, but if one decides to do so, the bobbins are black on both of them. The arm of the 3-way toggle switch has also been filed down to accommodate shorter switch tips that are commonly found on Gibson guitars. And finally, the tuner knobs have been swapped out for ebony knobs (originals included). While I've never noticed any neck-dive on this guitar, the ebony knobs do significantly lighten the weight of the headstock. The guitar has been maintained in a properly humidified environment and smoke-free home. All in all, this guitar sounds and plays great, so I'm quite certain that the new owner won't be disappointed.
