The Ibanez SR300ECUB takes the classic Soundgear formula and dresses it up in a stunning Cerulean Aura Burst finish that just begs for stage lights. It’s a sleek, fast-playing 4-string that feels instantly familiar in your hands and pushes out punchy, modern bass tones with ease.

Features

This SR-series bass is built around Ibanez’s famously slim, comfortable neck profile, designed for players who like to move. Fast runs, intricate fingerstyle, or tight picked lines all feel effortless, with a contour that sits snugly against your body and keeps long sets feeling relaxed.

Electronics are where this one really comes alive. The SR300ECUB is equipped with an Ibanez PowerSpan Dual Coil pickup set, paired with an onboard active 3-band EQ and Power Tap switching. That combo lets you flip between punchy full humbucker tones, snappy single-coil-style articulation, or a blend that adds clarity without losing low-end authority. The Cerulean Aura Burst finish adds a visual pop that matches the bass’s lively, responsive feel.

Tone

Plugged in, this bass delivers tight, focused lows, an assertive but controlled midrange, and clear, singing highs that cut through without getting harsh. Roll the EQ toward the low end and you get a thick, driving foundation that locks in with the kick. Push the highs and engage the Power Tap options and you’re in bright, articulate territory that lets ghost notes and slides speak with real definition. Whether you’re holding down the groove or stepping out for melodic lines, it feels responsive and alive under your fingers.
