INFINITE RESPONSE VAX-77 "FOLDING" KEYBOARD USB CONTROLLER with POLY AFTER-TOUCH AND ROLLING "SUITCASE" BAG
Very good condition, fully functional. Includes rolling-suitcase gig bag.
Very expressive action and folds in half for easy traveling (see video link). There were three variations of the keyboard action available - light (synth-like), heavy (more semi-weighted), and ultra heavy (more resistant springs). This model has the "heavy" action. I originally had the ultra heavy and found it to be too heavy for my taste. Infinite Response switched the action to heavy for me and this worked better for my playing style.
People should note that these actions are NOT what might be thought of as traditional piano-like weighted actions. They are, however, very expressive actions and serve well for playing all types of keyboard sounds from pianos to organs and synths - at least I found it that way. People should also be aware that Infinite response is no longer in business. I purchased this direct from Infinite Response in 2012 and I am the original owner. I had the motherboard replaced in 2017, and as you can see on the display the software version is 3.31B, which I believe was the most updated version.
The configurable midi features and support for Apple MainStage makes it a very powerful instrument for live use. The keyboard also has poly-aftertouch which is a rare feature on keyboards these days.
