One of 148 Made in wine red in 1978. Has the much prefered blend knob in the later 70s models.Also has the colour matched neck and body, ultimately the best looking variant of the Marauder ever.The Gibson logo is in perfect shape, you can see some of the nitro finish checking around the headstock.This guitar has been played, and has the battle marks, it's listed in 'fair' condition. Love those pickups too.Everyone has very few choices today, get a single coil like a strat, or a humbucker like a les paul, or try to have both in some format. This one is unique, there are not many 'blend' knobs out there, and they don't mix a stacked humbucker and humbucker bridge sealed in epoxy.See if you can find a 40+ year old Gibson with a run of 148 and a total production of 7,111 that doesn't sell for $10,000 and ... well buy it..This guitar is serious punk rock, it's old school grunge, it's alt mod no f's to give youth.I've seen Sum 42, Foo Fighters, Rival Schools, Sonic Youth, Queens of the Stone Age.They are the bands that i've seen playing them.It's my first guitar, I cannot for the life of me remember where I bought it, maybe it was the early days of Ebay almost 20 years ago.I sold it at one point then bought it back again..It's got my 'what's your price' price on it.
