Ensoniq VFX Battery Replacement

The internal battery in the Ensoniq VFX must be soldered to the synthesizer’s circuit board. Unless you are experienced with soldering electronics, this job is best left to a qualified technician.

If you decide to replace the battery yourself, be aware that overheating the battery may cause it to explode. Make quick solder joints and use a heatsink whenever possible.

Battery replacement is generally a simple repair for any qualified service center and can usually be completed quickly.

Before replacing the battery, be sure to save all programs and sequences, as the keyboard will return to factory settings once the battery is removed or discharged.
