Vintage Sony ECM-51 Bob Barker Telescoping Condenser Microphone *Works Great! *Screen *Battery

Here we have one of the most famous microphones in the world! The Sony ECM-51 has been used by Bob Barker on The Price Is Right, by Gene Rayburn and Alec Baldwin on
Matchgame as well as Jim Perry from Cardsharks and many others on different game shows throughout the years.

This is basically the well loved ECM-50 on a telescoping handle. I've compared it to my ECM-50 and the two sound just alike, so you know that this is working like it should. "Cough" or mute button tested and working. Telescopes fully. Runs on a size "N" battery (or the direct replacement E-90). Has a standard XLR cable. Will ship with battery, ready to rock!

Cosmetically this is in great shape considering it's age. Minor wear on microphone and handle but overall in great shape.

This is a fantastic collectors item but also super useful when recording music. Both Val Garay and Tchad Blake have used an ECM-50 to record acoustic guitar for major artist and Val uses it as his go to high hat mic. This mic sounds just like that one.
