A lovely old French violin from the workshop of J Thibouville-Lamy.
A wonderful, bright-sounding instrument with shades of brown, orange & black, and a stunning 2 piece back. It's very easy to play and comfortable across the fingerboard -everything can be played with a soft, delicate touch.
The label inside reads:
"Jérome Thibouville-Lamy & Cie. Luthiers 68 bis a 72 Rue Réaumur Paris" The instrument has numerous repaired cracks on the face but is otherwise in good condition.
