What We Think:

This fantastic piece hardware allows you to convert your old suspended rack tom into a floor tom with legs. No need to drill and add weight to your shell. You simply take the resonant head off and align the ring with your hardware. Put your drum head back on, tune, and you are all set. No more having to carry the tom with your cymbal stand. Now you can move you floor tom independently and finally place the drum where you want it.

Manufacturer Description:

The DSS mount fits between the lugs and the hoop. The tension rods goes through a rubber grommet at 4 points to isolate any metal to metal contact. This allows the drum to vibrate freely compared to a fixed bracket mounted to the side of the shell. Designed for an 8 lug drum.
