I'm selling an uber-rare Lace "AGI" Stratocaster copy. Only a few dozen in existence and even less with a beautiful maple neck AND maple fingerboard.
"Actodyne General International" was the company founded by Don Lace Sr. in 1979. His amazing work with Fender yielded the highly acclaimed "Lace sensor pickups"; also known as "The Lace Holy Grail pickup".
These AGI guitars were manufactured in the late 90's, using their top of the line Lace pickups. I've never seen another maple fretboard version of this guitar, ever. We're talking extremely rare!
Painted in a beautiful candy apple metallic red, there is a minor scrape (pictured) on the back of the guitar. The rear tremolo plate is included, just not pictured. (It's the same light pearl color as the pickguard). The Wilkinson floating bridge works great and holds tune extremely well. Gotoh tuners are stock. Whammy bar and gig bag are included.
The electronics work great with no issues. The frets have a lot of life left in them; although they can use a good fret dress and polish to be perfect.
It does have one tiny ding on the back of the neck, near the heel. It doesn't affect the playability whatsoever, but I want to disclose all the flaws for transparency.
Offers will be accepted for this mega-rare instrument. If you'd like more photos or have any questions, please contact me.
