Gibson 2016 Hummingbird Pro Acoustic-Electric Guitar Vintage Sunburst - Excellent Condition!

Priced to sell. One Gibson 2016 Hummingbird Pro Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar Vintage Sunburst. This guitar has no more than 7 hours of play time, it has less play time than probably most new guitars in the showroom.  It was bought then spent the year in its case in a smoke free household with climate control and a case humidifier. This cutaway model is usually a few hundred more that the regular slope shoulder model and is provides great access to the upper frets for leads and chord work. Don't be confused by the prices you see for sales of the 2012 or 2015 models which are going for a much less. The 2016 also has all of the electronics inside the guitar and no cuts into the mahogany tone wood.  The only whole is in the bottom strap knob for the guitar chord. The tone and volume controls are just inside the top of the sound hole for adjustment. This guitars sounds amazing and neck is really sweet.

Comes with accessories and paperwork still in original packaging. A fantastic guitar that sounds amazing and is selling for hundreds less than retail. The guitar goes new for $2499 at GC & MF and maybe for 10-15% off if you can haggle or catch a sale. This one is going for just $1765. 

The guitar was purchased new in 2016 at GC and was professionally set ups by a luthier for media height action and with Gibson 12's. This guitar action could be reset and the gauge of the strings changed to suite the players needs. Its has some really fine strum marks that could be polished out. The guitar also has two really fine finish checks and one little ding in the back. The checks are surface only and almost can't be seen in the pictures.  There are no cracks to any of the wood on this guitar and it is in excellent condition.

The only modification to the guitar is the addition of  a strap button installed on the heel of the guitar by the same luthier. It can be seen in the pictures along with everything else described.Please look over the pictures of the guitar carefully and ask any questions. Speaking of which, the fingerboard edge has been softened to make it fit the contour of your hand and a finer grit sandpaper and polishing compounds in the high gloss finish make it easier to slide up and down the neck with ease. The fingerboard and bridge have been hand rubbed and oiled to help them last longer and maximize the rosewood's natural vibrancy. It also has an engraved truss rod cover and L.R. Baggs Element VTC pickup so you can enjoy it when your sound needs the bump of amplification.
