Latching / Grounding Switch - Use for effects or whatever needs to be connected or disconnected to ground.
For example, on the Tremolo TMB Reverb PCB, the Reverb and Tremolo effects can both me turned off (muted) by connecting their switch points to ground. This is a common concept on hundreds of amplifier designs.
This PCB works by connecting 1 terminal of the connected jack to ground. When the terminal is grounded, the LED will be illuminated. The LEDs work only off of battery, and should not be connected to an external power source. This is to keep them isolated.
This PCB is designed to work with standard 3PDT footswitches and external LEDs, or with LED equipped 3PDT switches like in the 2nd photo.
Dimensions are roughly 4 inches by 1 1/4 inches.
