Guild Bluesbird Electric Guitar - Tobacco Sunburst Flame Maple w/OHSC - USA

Guild Bluesbird Electric Guitar in excellent condition. Beautiful Tobacco sunburst finish on the AAA Flame maple top with cream binding and chrome hardware. The guitar is similar in body style to a Les Paul. The body is chambered not "weight relieved" like a Paul. This gives the guitar a snappier more resonant sound, closer to, but not quite like a semi-hollow. Some have referred to them as "Semi-Solid" not "Semi-Hollow". This design is now being used by some manufacturers today.

The guitar is set up with a nice action and the slightly fuller rounded "C" profile mahogany neck with a bound rosewood fretboard and mother of pearl block inlays has a good feel. The frets are in excellent condition with little to no playwear.

The SH1 and SH4 pickups have a great tone and good output, capable of  handling anything from Jazz to Rock. The guitar is equipped with a tune-o-matic style bridge, stop bar tailpiece and Grover tuners. These guitars were compared to and hold their own against Les Pauls, but they are really in a category of their own. These Guilds have a their own vibe and have a following for a reason. They are well crafted, using quality woods--- a great guitar made in the USA!
