Pacer Vintage Power
The original Kramer Pacer was first introduced in 1982 and kicked off a “Kramer decade” of modern guitars that inspired a generation of shredders. The modern Pacer Vintage features a Maple body with an offset double cutaway in either Pearl White or Orange Burst with Tiger Graphic finish. The Maple neck has a Maple fingerboard with dot inlays, a 25.5" scale, 22 medium jumbo frets, a 14" radius, and a Floyd Rose® R2 Lock Nut.

The Pacer Vintage is powered by world a Seymour Duncan® “JB” humbucker in the bridge position and a “JN” humbucker in the neck position. Seymour created the JB & JN combo in 1974 and the pickups are still hand made at the factory in Santa Barbara, California. The “JB” is the ultimate hot rod humbucker featuring Alnico 5 magnets that excel at midrange attack, a tight, articulate low end, and harmonically rich highs. The JN or SH-2n Jazz humbucker uses an Alnico 5 bar magnet and a special coil wind for an articulate, glassy treble response. Both pickups are wound with 42-AWG copper wire with a DC resistance reading of over 16K ohms. Both pickups have their own volume control with a push/pull series/parallel tap and a .002mf cap bleed mod on each pickup and a master tone control.

The Pacer Vintage features a Floyd Rose® 1000 Series Tremolo along with a R2 Lock Nut for rock solid tuning and intonation. For easy adjustments, two hex wrenches are fastened to the back of the headstock. The Pacer Vintage also comes with Premium die-cast tuners with a 14:1 tuning ratio. A hard case is available through Authorized Kramer Dealers.
