The Embie-Matic is a high quality Melita style guitar bridge machined from high-strength aluminum. The flat pan-head screws locking the saddle clips in place allow palm space and a low profile. The materials are light weight, with precise tolerances, making it very resonant under string tension. Each Embie-Matic has it's own serial number, and is made and assembled with care and attention to detail. Proudly made in St Louis, MO.
This is the gold Embie-Matic adjustable guitar bridge assembly with the archtop base. The bridge body is gold anodized aluminum. The post spacing is
3 3/8" / 85.725mm. The outside string spacing is
2 1/16" / 52.38mm. The archtop bridge base is self conforming, made exactly like the original Melita Synchro-Sonic archtop base. The post diameter is
.196" / 4.978mm, with 32 threads per inch. The post spacing is
3 3/8" / 85.725mm. The feet bottoms are covered with thin silicone pads to grip to your guitar's top, while protecting its finish. It is available in short, standard or tall post height options, see measurements below. We also make custom bridge post heights, just send us your measurements!
Our saddles are center notched for gauged string slotting files, and will need to be slotted upon installation and set-up. We are always happy to pre-slot your saddles, just send your preferred string gauges!
