I purchased this guitar new from Chicago Music Exchange in 2019 and have been the only owner.
This is a Fender Custom Shop Masterbuilt instrument built by Kyle McMillin for Chicago Music Exchange. According to the original floor traveler, the guitar features an Indian Rosewood body, Rosewood neck, African Blackwood fretboard, custom hand-wound Chicago Special pickups, and Fender Custom Shop's Lush Closet Classic finish package.
The specifications combine several uncommon features rarely found together in a single instrument. The Indian Rosewood body and neck are paired with an African Blackwood fretboard, reverse large-headstock neck, vintage-correct 7.25" radius, 21 frets, and a 1960 Style Oval "C" neck profile. The electronics feature a full set of hand-wound Chicago Special pickups built specifically for CME, along with vintage-style 50s Strat wiring and a 3-way switch.
The guitar remains in excellent condition and has seen very little play time since new. It has been carefully stored in a smoke-free, climate-controlled environment and includes the original Fender Custom Shop case, Certificate of Authenticity, original floor traveler, and all original case candy.
The guitar weighs approximately 10 lbs 3 oz.
As much as I've enjoyed owning it, I'm in the process of reducing the size of my collection and have decided it's time to pass it along to someone who will appreciate it as much as I have.
