Ian Sherwen, the man behind Ghost Effects, is a tremendous builder and was selected as one of the four master builders to bring back the Sola Sound MK1 project
this unit is very similar to the Sola Sound produced unit with some added details
This unit has been made with 2 Texas Instrument 2G381 transistors in combination with an OC71. These TI transistors are considerably rare and were used in the original Sola Sound Units in 1965.
This unit also benefits from a bias knob on the side which can take you through the gamut of MK1 tones from smooth and sustaining, to spitty and choppy. It is also able to overbias resulting in that crackling raging sound that some MK1s are known for. Mint condition in box Tracked and signed worldwide shipping
