Fender Duo Sonic MIM Player series HS 2019 custom large flake silver purple burst

Fender 2019 Duo Sonic MIM with custom large flake sparkle finish. Condition is used but essentially, brand new.

Here's the scoop on this one. I picked it up as a “demo”, but it was clear it was never demoed or played at all. The tip of the pick guard where the screw goes in was bent but still attached.  That was it. I did some work on it and with the burst finish on the pick guard (which I think is really classy) - it’s difficult to tell anything was going on with it to begin with.

I'm always doing a number of custom finishes on guitars and bases.  This one was just begging for a killer flake finish to go with the retro shape.

As mentioned, this one got the retro large flake purple / silver burst finish (I use a number of different candy colors to get this kind of burst). I think it's an absolutely killer finish, I'm super happy with how this turned out, just stunning, works so well with the Pau Ferro fret board – which has some really nice colors in it as well. And with the white pups- super cool! There's not too much to mention that you can't see in the pictures. The finish is nice and smooth, there's no roughness of any kind- it's as good or better than factory. It's defiantly one of a kind that's just oozing style, bling and still classy.  My goal is to make the new finish look like a custom shop or better- I think I got pretty darn close on this one for sure!   

This ships in original box and a couple hang tags.
