Jackson San Dimas Soloist 1985 Custom Pink Platinum

San Dimas era Jacksons live up to the hype.
If you’ve owned or played one, you know. There’s nothing like ‘em. Incredible attention to detail, craftsmanship and artistry. This axe is pure SD era magic.

Second year production, extremely rare, especially in such good condition. And Platinum Pink??? Even more rare.

If original Jackson pickups are your jam, reinstall them, they’re included. I received the guitar with installer Bare Knuckle Holy Diver in the bridge and Duncan Quarter Pounders in neck/middle. WAY better tone upgrade IMO. Holy Diver for those unfamiliar is like a hi fi version of a classic 80s high output pickup, minus the mud, this PU sizzles but is incredibly articulate.

The Khaler bridge was fully dis-assembled cleaned and lubricated, ready to rock another 30 years. I prefer Khalers, no back routing means more wood, more tone.

The neck profile is not the flat ultra thin Wizard like profile that some have. This one has a slim C shape with a bit of shoulder. Super comfy, you fly as fast as your fingers will go!

Platinum Pink is a gorgeous finish. If you look really close, there’s a slight pearl essence it, subtle, but adds to the color allure.
