After four years of service, I've decided to part ways with my 1970's model Alvarez. This guitar shows wear and tear, but what it lacks in looks it makes up for in tone and playability. Some of the frets have been filed down pretty low to remove wear marks, and also remove buzzing from the super-low action. Has a B-Band UST installed, and sounds great when played through an acoustic amp or direct box. (No volume control) It's been well-kept in a humidity controlled environment since I've owned it. Neck is straight.
What I'm really looking for is a nice Japanese Takamine. I am offering up this guitar as well as a nicely used Alvarez AJ60SC-NAT to make that trade.
I am not offering shipping in my sale, and would prefer pickup somewhere in the central Kentucky area. But if you're interested enough, I will quote shipping.
