This guitar is part of the Fender Japan-exclusive run of guitars for the late 2020-2021 lineup. These are only available for sale in Japan and were based on the 2017 mexican-made series, but ramped up with much better features and build quality. The special features include a metal Fender logo, dyed-black fretboard (with regular color showing on the edges and behind the nut) and black chrome hardware among other things!
This Tele is in very clean shape with minimal wear from me handling it. The plastic coverings are still protecting the pickguard. I did not see any major blemishes.
A professional set up to your liking is encouraged upon arrival
