About This Listing

Crafted in Japan.

Great playing condition, with lots of life left! Minimal fret wear. Original string nut in great shape. Everything is original on this bass, except for the strings.
Electronics are in great shape, knobs operate very smoothly, like new.

Plays nicely with low action.
The original pickups do have some single-coil hum, as usual for a Jazz Bass.

The guitar does have some scuffs and dents, typical for a 27-year old instrument. I did my best to capture these in the photos.

With that said, the back of the neck is near-immaculate with no dents or scrapes. It is smooth, almost like a new guitar. It doesn't appear this guitar was gigged much, more of a bedroom practice instrument.

An old, but useful RoadRunner Gig bag is included. Ships with UPS, in a heavy-duty Reverb.com shipping box.

Per Fender's website, this Japanese Jazz Bass dates to 1993 or 1994 given the "O + 6 digits" serial number:
