Castle 101 Quad Gate by LZX Industries is a multi-function cascaded video-rate Boolean logic module for the LZX modular format. like its sibling Multi Gate, the Quad Gate module simultaneously produces multiple logical intersections of the input signals. unlike Multi Gate, Quad Gate relies on one of a number of quad logic chips and changes its functions depending on the selected chip. the recommended configuration utilizes a quad XOR chip which results in the following logical relationships:

• A1 XOR B1 at OUT 1
• A2 XOR B2 at OUT 2
• B1 XOR OUT 2 at OUT 3
• A2 XOR OUT 1 at OUT 4

other chip options include 4001 NOR and 4011 AND, each producing their own flavor of logically-derived results.
