This unfinished Parker Fly project guitar can be all yours; needs some work to complete it, and is available today (April 1st) only! This American-grown wood is original, pre-refined, and in pre-production-ready condition. Parker purists take note: this is NOT a USM-era guitar; our technicians have inspected this item and verified that it was made long before Ken Parker left Parker Guitars!! This is your chance to own a one-of-a-kind pre-pre-refined model!

This project Fly is ideal for implementing the original 25.5" Fly scale, but could be easily modified for 24.75" scale if you don't measure properly when making the first cut. It is missing the original factory stainless steel frets, but this leaves the potential for you to use fanned frets or even microtonal frets; sold as-is with current fretless setup. No buzzing!

Original Sperzel locking tuners not included, but the tuner holes have also not been drilled, so this could be your opportunity to make a unique 8-string or 9-string Fly; could also be easily and/or accidentally modified to become a headless Fly depending on your level of skill with a drill press. Original bullwinkle-style headstock holder included (as shown in photo).

It's missing the carbon fiber and fiberglass fingerboard, composite reinforced exoskeleton, and all other OEM Wilmington-era components. It can be finished in metallic Tangerine, Lime Green, Majik Blue, or other colors, and can also be covered with a maple veneer (e.g. the Tree Maple Custom a.k.a. the Tree Classic Maple). Has minor dings (shown in photos) as you might expect from an instrument this age. No epoxy resin has been applied to the piece, but it does contain tree resin.

Looking for Reeves Gabrels' chunky-neck NiteFly? Joni Mitchell's cedar Fly Artist? Adrian Belew's signature Fly with Sustainiac and Variax circuitry? Look elsewhere! This Fly project guitar is so rare that it was never even considered for production!! Our technicians meticulously checked the catalogs over at Fly Clone (a fine resource for Parker Guitars info!) and found no mention or reference to this particular project Fly, so it might even be a rare pre-production DF842!

Actual item may differ from the one shown in photos. Item does not include Duncans, DiMarzios, or Fishman pizzazios, and is not officially licensed in any way by any company, but it does include an authentic limited edition Parker Guitars luggage tag (as shown in photo)!
