Reason for selling – I actually bought it for trying out some humbucker
pickups. But it sounds so good I couldn’t do it. And it really needs to be in
the hands of somebody that will play it more than I have time to.
Additional details from an admirer:
Hand built by Joseph Kovacic. Joe is a “woodworker extraordinaire”.
He uses woods that are beautiful, exotic, and tone full. They are
special. This guitar is a superb musical instrument and a compelling choice for
professional guitarists. It is simply perfect in its design,
construction, tonality, and playability. Some view the Lado Elite series as
better PRS guitar.
Look at the photos of this guitar to see the “clean” and “sharp” joinery
work, the precision fit of the hardware and components to the guitar body and
neck, and the quality of the wood and other components used in building this
incredible guitar. But, until you play it, you can only anticipate its
greatness. You will not be disappointed.
Summary: Overall tonally I think it sits right between a very warm LP
and a powerful Strat. And yes it reminds me of a PRS-but it is truly
unique in its voicing and playability. It just plays a whole lot better
and thanks to the slim neck, a whole lot faster.
